    "description": "<h2>Position Title</h2>Medical Imaging Information System Manager\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><b>Purpose & Scope:</b> </p>\n<p>The Medical Imaging Information System Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, management, and maintenance of medical imaging systems and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) within a healthcare organization. This role ensures the systems function seamlessly, securely, and align with clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives. Working with senior leadership, the manager will also oversee a team of technical and operational staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth. This role will require significant on-site presence with some telework potential.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><b>Education:</b> </p>\n<p>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Radiologic Sciences, or a related field.</p>\n<p>Master’s degree preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><b>Experience:</b> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience managing imaging systems in a healthcare environment.</li>\n <li>Experience with PACS, RIS, CIS and EHR systems is required.</li>\n <li>Clinical Radiology experience strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Proven experience > 5 years in leading and managing a team, preferably in a healthcare or IT setting.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and other imaging and healthcare communication standards.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Fuji Synapse, Powerscribe, Epic is preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><b>Certification/Licensure:</b> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Relevant certifications such as Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) or equivalent are preferred.</li>\n <li>Epic Radiant, Cupid, Bridges certifications are a plus</li>\n <li>CAHIMS/CPHIMS</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>Additional Skills</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong technical knowledge of imaging systems and their workflows.</li>\n <li>Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage a multidisciplinary team.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).</li>\n <li>Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.</li>\n</ul>",
