Now, in our 25th year, we are expanding into a growth engine for our clients&mdash;powered by <strong>AI, integrated creative, and next-gen content strategy</strong>&mdash;and for the business itself, driving both revenue and enterprise value.</p><p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>The Junior Carpenter / Millworker supports the Production team in the fabrication and assembly of scenic, architectural, and branded elements. This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for someone looking to build their skills in custom fabrication while learning from seasoned craftsmen and cross-functional teams. This role offers opportunities for advancement into Intermediate and Senior Carpenter/Millworker positions as skills, speed, and craftsmanship develop.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist in the fabrication and assembly of scenic structures, millwork components, and custom environments.&nbsp;</li><li>Support senior carpenters in preparing materials, cutting, sanding, laminating, and finishing components.&nbsp;</li><li>Read and interpret basic shop drawings, diagrams, and instructions with supervision.&nbsp;</li><li>Operate standard woodworking tools and machinery (table saws, chop saws, routers, drills, sanders, etc.) safely and efficiently.&nbsp;</li><li>Apply laminates, veneer, and edge banding with attention to quality and finish consistency.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in constructing modular and knock-down elements designed for transport and reassembly.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with CNC, Metal, Paint, and Graphics departments to support integrated fabrication processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in on-site installations as needed, assisting with setup, assembly, and takedown.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and shop standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Report material shortages, equipment issues, and quality concerns to the Foreman or Production Manager.&nbsp;</li><li>Contribute to team efficiency by following direction and proactively supporting the production workflow.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>1&ndash;2 years of experience in carpentry, millwork, scenic fabrication, or a related field (or completion of a relevant technical program).&nbsp;</li><li>Basic understanding of woodworking tools, materials, and construction techniques.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship with a willingness to learn.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to read and follow drawings or build instructions.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor.&nbsp;</li><li>Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability in a collaborative team environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Exposure to exhibit fabrication, scenic construction, or event/tradeshow environments.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with laminates, MDF, plywood, hardwoods, and composite materials.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of basic shop safety protocols and tool maintenance.&nbsp;</li><li>Forklift and/or scissor lift certification is a plus. <strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION</strong></p><p>The compensation package will be commensurate with experience.
