    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><div id=\"isPasted\"><p>As a Cath Lab Scrub Tech, you&#39;ll play a vital role in supporting interventional cardiac procedures that save lives and improve patient health. You&#39;ll work alongside leading cardiologists and healthcare professionals, utilizing your skills to ensure the highest standards of care in our dynamic catheterization lab.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Prepare the catheterization laboratory and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.</li><li>Assist with the sterilization and set-up of sterile fields.</li><li>Scrub in to assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures by passing instruments, manipulating catheters, and helping with device implantation.</li><li>Maintain aseptic technique to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.</li><li>Monitor and maintain the inventory of cath lab supplies, restocking as necessary.</li><li>Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment under the direction of the physician.</li><li>Ensure proper disposal of sharps and other hazardous materials following procedures.</li><li>Record and document procedural details, patient responses, and the outcome of the procedure in the patient&rsquo;s medical record.</li><li>Collaborate with the cath lab team to implement protocols and quality control measures.</li><li>Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures, including positioning the patient and monitoring vital signs.</li><li>Participate in emergency response situations by providing critical assistance as needed.</li><li>Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff and students within the cath lab environment.</li><li>Engage in continuous education to stay current with evolving techniques, equipment, and best practices in the field of cardiac care.</li><li>Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members&nbsp;</li><li>operating the C-Arm X-Ray during the procedure</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Ability to work Saturdays</li><li>Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program or Surgical Technologist Program</li><li>American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license</li><li>Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred</li><li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification</li><li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe</li><li>Minimum of one year of experience in a catheterization lab or operating room preferred</li><li>Proficient in scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures</li><li>Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology</li><li>Familiarity with cath lab equipment, instruments, and radiation safety</li><li>Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Flexibility with work hours to accommodate varying shifts and emergency call-ins Physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle equipment and assist patients</li><li>Commitment to continuing education and staying current with advancements in the field</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>This position is a clinical position and will report to the office Monday- Friday from 6:30 am &ndash; 5:00 PM.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><p>This position requires full range of body motion.
