Description

Job Summary The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory control operations, with a primary focus on managing and directing cycle counting activities. This role ensures inventory accuracy, supports operational efficiency, and leads a team of cycle counters to maintain high standards of stock integrity. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the work of cycle counters, including scheduling, training, and performance management Plan and execute cycle count programs to ensure accurate inventory records Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis Monitor inventory transactions and ensure proper documentation and system updates Collaborate with warehouse, receiving, shipping, and procurement teams to maintain inventory accuracy Analyze inventory data and generate reports on accuracy, trends, and variances Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory control processes Support physical inventory counts and audits as needed Maintain safety standards and promote a culture of accountability and accuracy Qualifications Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred 3–5+ years of inventory control & warehouse experience, with supervisory experience preferred Strong understanding of inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills Strong leadership and communication abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
