    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Description:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for leading and managing multiple projects they are assigned to. These are to be completed on time, on budget and according to project quality requirements. This responsibility extends from formal acceptance at an internal Kick-Off meeting through to receipt of final payment from the customer. The Senior Project Engineer also provides guidance and support to fellow project engineers.<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support sales activities by evaluating RFQ packages and preparing quote estimates for review with respective lead engineer / manager prior to submission to client.</li>\n<li>Review the sales job file before internal kick off meeting to ensure it is comprehensive. Any grey areas or omissions shall be documented with a timeline for resolution without impacting project deliverables.</li>\n<li>Review the history of problems on previous similar projects and develop / implement a strategy to mitigate against such risks occurring again.</li>\n<li>Review project specifications, requirements, and objectives and provide technical input and feedback.</li>\n<li>Carry out a comprehensive project plan and adjust it to manage changes in the project’s risk landscape.</li>\n<li>Implement engineering, procurement, manufacturing and quality strategy based on contractual requirements and Jord procedures.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, regulations, and best practices.</li>\n<li>Communicate and collaborate with engineers, managers, clients, and other stakeholders on project status, expectations, and deliverables.</li>\n<li>Ensure all critical project communication and information are generated and filed.</li>\n<li>Manage project scope and ensure that all opportunities for EOT (extension of time) and EOC (extension of cost) are documented and claimed in line with the contractual requirements in a timely and professional manner.</li>\n<li>Support quality control and assurance checks and tests and verify project results and outcomes.</li>\n<li>Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and issues and propose corrective actions and solutions.</li>\n<li>Promptly report any critical risks to the reporting manager.</li>\n<li>Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies.</li>\n<li>Perform special tasks as assigned by the reporting manager as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">S</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">kills and Experience:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 6 to 11 years of project execution experience with a basic understanding of Engineering, Procurement, Shipping, Fabrication and QA/QC activities.</li>\n<li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering and/or Project Management</li>\n<li>Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills</li>\n<li>Experience in managing projects that adhere to timeline, budgets, quality and mitigate risk</li>\n<li>Understanding of commercial terms and financial objectives of projects</li>\n<li>Effective communication and collaboration skills</li>\n<li>Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.</li>\n<li>Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as needed.</li>\n</ul>",
