The mobile crisis response team will work in collaboration with the LAPD to respond to non-violent calls in the community that may have a social services impact including but not limited to (a) mental health, (b) substance abuse, (c) suicide threats, (d) behavioral distress, (e) conflict resolution, and (f) welfare checks;</p><p>The MCRT will work in 12-hour shifts, three-day work weeks, Monday-Sunday, with no on-call responsibilities when off shift. The shifts are scheduled on quarterly basis, and all staff must be available to cover any of the following shifts: 7:00am-7:00pm, 7:30am-7:30pm, 8:00am-8:00pm, and 10:00am-10:00pm. The MCRT will be working directly with a Community Worker and Clinical Manager to ensure quality of care and respond to calls in a van provided by the agency. The therapist works collaboratively with the team to assess and link the families and individuals to needed community services and coordinate all the services that they will potentially receive. The therapist documents all service according to the guidelines of the program and Penny Lane policy and procedures.</p><p>The MCRT is dedicated to providing needed services within the community and is passionate about attending to the safety and well-being of the people in the local communities. The MCRT possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills when working with clients, outside agencies, members of the community, and co-workers. When in a client&rsquo;s home or in community, the MCRT will employ a calm demeanor and good ethical and professional boundaries. Excellent clinical skills are used to assess the appropriate level of care for clients and stabilize the crisis situation at hand. Teaming, collaborating and coordination of care with all Penny Lane staff, local law enforcement leads, and other outside agencies is crucial. This position requires flexibility, excellent time management skills and the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently with little supervision.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Active MFT Associate, ASW Associate or APCC registered with the BBS.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Or active Licensed LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Psychologist.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Post Master&rsquo;s clinical work treating children and/or adolescents preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of DMH paperwork.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bilingual Spanish Preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Valid California driver&rsquo;s license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization&rsquo;s insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Position Location:</strong> North Hills, CA<br><br><strong>Position Shift:&nbsp;</strong>Day shift &ndash; 12-hour shifts, with no on-call responsibilities when not on shift; Will work three-day work weeks, Monday-Sunday.
