    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Opportunity:<br></span>The Quality Engineering Technician performs intermediate‑level inspection and quality assurance activities to ensure products, components, and processes meet established specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. This role supports receiving, in‑process, and final inspections; shipping reviews; nonconformance investigations; and calibration coordination. The Quality Inspector works with minimal oversight and provides technical support to production and engineering teams.<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our Technology</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">:<br></span></p>\n<p>Safran Federal Systems provides <a href=\"https://www.orolia.com/resources/resilient-pnt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT)</a> solutions and custom engineering services to U.S. Government agencies, defense organizations and their contractors. Safran Federal Systems is authorized to work on the full spectrum of U.S. Government classified and unclassified projects, in addition to supporting strategic partnerships for key defense PNT technologies.<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">How I will Contribute</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">:<br></span>In this role, you play a critical part in ensuring that products, components, and processes meet all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Your work directly supports production flow, customer satisfaction, and compliance by identifying issues early, preventing defects, and maintaining accurate quality records.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Responsibilities:<br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials and components</li>\n<li>Conduct in‑process inspections during manufacturing to verify conformance</li>\n<li>Complete final inspections prior to product release</li>\n<li>Perform shipping reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance before shipment</li>\n<li>Identify, document, and support resolution of nonconforming material (NCMR)</li>\n<li>Assist Quality Engineers with root‑cause analysis and corrective action activities when needed</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and complete inspection records and documentation</li>\n<li>Assist with coordination and maintenance the calibration schedule for inspection tools and equipment</li>\n<li>Ensure calibrated equipment is available, properly maintained, and compliant</li>\n<li>Provide inspection‑related technical support to production and engineering teams</li>\n<li>Communicate inspection results and quality concerns clearly and professionally</li>\n<li>Plan and prioritize inspection tasks to meet production and shipping schedules</li>\n<li>Perform complex inspections and make informed decisions with minimal supervision</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>What You Bring to Safran Federal Systems: <br></span>You bring the technical expertise, attention to detail, and problem‑solving mindset needed to uphold high quality standards.
