The server is attentive, knowledgeable, and works efficiently to meet the needs of the guests while adhering to the restaurant’s standards of service and cleanliness.</p><p>REPORTS TO: General Manager/ Restaurant Manager</p><p>LOCATION: The Elmont&nbsp;</p><p>Pay: Hourly plus tips&nbsp;</p><p>DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ul><li>Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.&nbsp;</li><li>Take food and drink orders, ensuring accuracy and clarity of customer preferences.&nbsp;</li><li>Deliver food and beverages to customers in a timely manner.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including food ingredients and preparation methods, to answer any questions from guests.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor the needs of guests throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction and offering additional items or services as appropriate.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform opening and closing side work, including restocking, cleaning, and organizing the dining area and service stations.&nbsp;</li><li>Handle guest payments accurately, including cash and credit card transactions.&nbsp;</li><li>Follow all cleanliness and safety standards for the dining room, wait stations, and kitchen areas.&nbsp;</li><li>Attend pre-meal meetings and training sessions to stay informed on restaurant policies and menu updates.&nbsp;</li><li>Present a clean, professional appearance at all times, adhering to grooming and uniform standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management to maintain an efficient and positive dining environment.</li></ul><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification are required</li><li>Previous bartending or customer service experience is preferred.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old (or meet local legal requirements for service positions).</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.</li><li>Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays and events.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p><ul><li>Work is typically performed in the resort. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work involves a majority of standing, bending, stooping, twisting, climbing and some lifting up to 50 lbs.</li></ul>",
