You will work with a multi-disciplinary team on meaningful, landmark land development projects in the San Diego area. You will learn from and work alongside industry-leading experts and together shape the future of tomorrow.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>Qualified candidate will have a BSCE degree, CA Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, plus a minimum of fifteen (15) years of directly relevant experience; or the equivalent work experience of eighteen (18) years in this industry.</p><p>Local San Diego County experience as well as California experience preferred.&nbsp;</p><p>Candidate must possess the ability to sustain positive business relationships, obtain new work, and to market services provided by RICK.&nbsp;</p><p>Candidate shall be active and have continuous involvement in community and professional societies and organizations.&nbsp;</p><p>Candidates for this position must demonstrate:</p><ul><li>Independent thought and decision-making abilities and excellent communication skills</li><li>A minimum of five years management experience supervising the work of technical staff required</li><li>Ability to provide exceptional customer service and foster client relationships</li><li>Possess demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills</li><li>Exhibit management ability</li><li>Team player</li><li>Adept in establishing and maintaining strong and positive working relationships with clients/public-agency personnel and in-house staff</li></ul><p>Managerial experience will include the following:</p><ul><li>Management of construction bid documents and contracts</li><li>Management of construction support and field coordination</li><li>Management of project schedules and budgets</li><li>Preparation of contracts, write comprehensive fee proposals and scopes of work for both private land development projects as well as collaborate on public works pursuits</li><li>Significant experience in client and private and public-agency interactions</li></ul><p>Technical experience will include the following:</p><ul><li>Ability to perform conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies (incorporating land use and zoning considerations, assessment and consideration of site constraints, infrastructure requirements, and potential regulatory issues)</li><li>Preparation/processing of regulatory plans</li><li>Preparation/processing of public improvement plans (private offsite work and public works)</li><li>Ability to perform constructability reviews</li><li>Experience with a range of construction support services</li></ul><p>Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures in California and the San Diego region is strongly preferred.
