What You'll Do Evaluates and implements protocols and methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials and finished products and ensure they are in compliance with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for distribution. Review PFMEA and Control Plans for new and existing products to ensure compliance with controlled documentation and propose updates if discrepancies are found. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Review production work instructions against as-built units to verify accuracy of final product. Develop processes and tests to determine that appropriate quality control analysis is being performed. Prepares documentation for inspection/testing procedures. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting and interpreting inspection support documents and records. Works with outside agencies to execute documented control processes compliant to Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements. Assures compliance with in-house and/or external specifications and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, DFARS). Recommend test and verification methods to ensure compliance of as-built PCB, PCBA, and complex wire harness components meet design requirements.
