This position will work with vendors for warranty, as appropriate and as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our residents. This position will be Full-Time Benefitted with the expectation of working 40 hours a week.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>General Maintenance:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.</li><li>Diagnose and repair issues in apartments and common areas promptly and efficiently.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify and address potential issues.</li><li>Collaborate with contractors and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.</li></ul><p><strong>Preventative Maintenance:</strong></p><ul><li>Implement and follow a preventative maintenance schedule to extend the life of building systems and equipment.</li><li>Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.</li><li>Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.</li></ul><p><strong>Emergency Repairs:</strong></p><ul><li>Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and effectively.</li><li>Be available for rotating on-call and emergency maintenance duties within the Milwaukee market</li></ul><p><strong>Resident Relations:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing maintenance requests and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.</li><li>Communicate effectively with property management and residents regarding maintenance issues and resolutions.</li></ul><p><strong>Safety and Compliance:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure all maintenance work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures and guidelines.</li><li>Participate in safety training and meetings as required.</li></ul>",
