    "description": "<h2>Opportunity</h2>\n<p>PeopleTec is currently seeking a <strong>Senior </strong><strong>Data Engineer </strong>to support our <strong>Huntsville, AL</strong> location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Responsible for carrying out engineering tasks to deliver an advanced visual analytic application to include: developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software; facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, as well as using the specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies; and establishing an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of a structured and semi-structured data. </p></li>\n <li><p>Design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security. </p></li>\n <li><p>Design and construct large relational databases. </p></li>\n <li><p>Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><u></u><strong><u>Required Skills/Experience</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Senior: 8 years of experience</li>\n <li>SME: 10 years of experience</li>\n <li>Java</li>\n <li>Perl</li>\n <li>Python</li>\n <li>PL/SQL</li>\n <li>Familiar with Postgres</li>\n <li>Informatica is a plus</li>\n <li>AWS</li>\n <li>NIFI</li>\n <li>5 to 7 years of ETL experience</li>\n <li>Spark / Scala</li>\n <li>SQL / PLSQL</li>\n <li>Linux</li>\n <li>Good understanding of data pipelines </li>\n <li>Nice:Agile, maven, Gitlab.</li>\n <li>Travel: 10%</li>\n <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li>\n <li>An active DoD <strong>Top Secret</strong> clearance <strong>with SCI/CI poly</strong> is required to perform this work.
