The solution is now used by some of the world’s leading Life Sciences companies.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>What we’re looking for</span></span></p>\n<p><span>As Kneat continues to expand, we are looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled and results-driven software engineer with proven experience in developing and implementing software solutions, in particular AI solutions to join our AI team as a Senior Engineer.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Position overview:</span></span></p>\n<p><span>This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technology, developing intelligent, autonomous agents that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to streamline document validation operations. You will be a key contributor to complex technical initiatives, driving significant projects from design through to rollout while mentoring less experienced developers on the team.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span>As part of the AI team and reporting to our Software Development Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing AI-powered solutions that are reliable, scalable, secure and production-ready to enhance our product suite. You will drive significant projects to completion and serve as a “go-to” person on the team. Providing mentorship to junior team members and contributing to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices will also be part of the remit.</span></p>\n<p><span>If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Core Technical Competencies:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>8+ years in software engineering role with AI focus</span></li>\n<li><span>3+ years in AI/ML/data science role with AI focus</span></li>\n<li><span>Computer Science degree or similar preferred</span></li>\n<li><span>Must have contributed significantly to a real, production AI system (beyond PoC)</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong proficiency in modern AI tooling and frameworks</span></li>\n<li><span>Solid experience in designing and implementing agentic workflows powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). Demonstrates strong skills in building tool-using autonomous agents, prompt engineering, context management, and understanding LLM behaviour to deliver production-ready AI systems</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency with cloud technologies, containers and microservices e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Git</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent communication skills with ability to tailor messages to different audiences</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong team player, with ability to drive projects to completion</span></li>\n<li><span>Other Skills: Agile methodologies, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture</span></li>\n<li><span>Additional Bonus: Backend experience with C#/.Net, Python, APIs and databases. Frontend knowledge of React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related technologies</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Duties will include</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Drive significant AI projects within the team to completion from design through to rollout</span></li>\n<li><span>Implement AI-powered enhancements to our product suite</span></li>\n<li><span>Contribute to technical architecture decisions and evaluate multiple solutions for complex problems</span></li>\n<li><span>Create and maintain technical documentation</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate closely with the Product Management &amp; UX teams, the wider Engineering team, AI Technical Lead, and customer support to deliver high-quality software and provide first-class support for our solutions</span></li>\n<li><span>Champion engineering best practices, setting strong examples for code quality, testing, and documentation standards</span></li>\n<li><span>Leverage cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate development workflows and help pioneer new approaches to building software</span></li>\n<li><span>Provide technical insights and mentorship to team members</span></li>\n<li><span>Contribute actively to internal knowledge sharing forums</span></li>\n<li><span>Take ownership of at least one component of the AI platform</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><span>With the Product &amp; UX teams</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Actively contribute to the product planning process</span></li>\n<li><span>Help break feature requests down into small, manageable items to aid the product planning process</span></li>\n<li><span>Help clarify technical problems during the product planning process</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><span>With the Engineering team</span></em></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Contribute to sprint planning</span></li>\n<li><span>Participate actively in the pull request process and provide thorough code reviews</span></li>\n<li><span>Evaluate and select the most effective approaches for complex problems, taking into account future needs of the business</span></li>\n<li><span>Provide technical training, mentoring and support to less experienced developers</span></li>\n<li><span>Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members across the organization</span></li>\n<li><span>Model flexibility in adopting new development methodologies or tools</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>What we offer you</span></span></p>\n<p><span>At Kneat, we truly value ideas and collaboration so we’ve created an environment that builds, protects, and celebrates teamwork.
