    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n <p>The Procurement team is growing and searching for a full-time Strategic Sourcing Agent! This position will identify cost savings opportunities, lead sourcing initiatives, collaborate on vendor purchasing programs, and direct the purchase of goods and services necessary for the operation of our business. You will have the means and opportunity to increase profits for the company by helping to drive strategic purchasing initiatives. The successful candidate will have 1-3&nbsp;years of experience in supply chain management and the ability to negotiate cost savings. This position will report to the Purchasing Manager.</p>\n <p><strong><u>Essential Job Functions:</u></strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Collaborate with corporate departments and stakeholders to strategize, negotiate, and process new vendor contracts and renewals</li>\n  <li>Seek to identify cost savings and drive value from existing vendor spend</li>\n  <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current and future needs to identify opportunities to consolidate spend, minimize rogue spend and capture process efficiencies</li>\n  <li>Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for vendor rationalization, buying channel and preferred vendor compliance, etc.</li>\n  <li>Submit requisitions in the Purchasing system on behalf of other business units as necessary</li>\n  <li>Administer various vendor programs across the company</li>\n  <li>Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to identify sourcing projects to complete throughout the year</li>\n  <li>Gather feedback from Business Units to address vendor performance and other areas, as needed</li>\n  <li>Engage with preferred vendors to obtain quotes, and negotiate pricing and contract business terms</li>\n  <li>Address and resolve vendor issues as it pertains to contract obligations, including service levels, product / service quality, and pricing</li>\n  <li>Provide support to Business Units regarding purchasing processes, policies, best practices, contracts submittal, etc.</li>\n </ul>\n <p><strong><u>Other Skills:</u></strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Must be able to maintain a courteous, professional working relationship with employees and stakeholders</li>\n  <li>Outstanding verbal and written communication skills</li>\n  <li>Strong critical thinking, time management and organizational skills</li>\n  <li>Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new e-tools and resources</li>\n  <li>Ability to work independently and on a team</li>\n  <li>Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li>\n  <li>Must be organized with strong attention to detail</li>\n  <li>Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing job requirements</li>\n </ul>\n <p><strong><u>Education / Experience:</u></strong></p>\n <ul>\n  <li>College degree, BS / BA in purchasing, supply chain, business, or equivalent</li>\n  <li>Proven experience as a sourcing/purchasing agent or relevant role</li>\n  <li>Demonstrate negotiating and cost reduction capabilities</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices</li>\n  <li>Oracle Cloud experience is a plus</li>\n  <li>Purchasing certification is a plus</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400\">\n <strong>This position is on-site in Hunt Valley, MD.
