    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span>Euclid Chemical is currently seeking a <strong>Shipping Supervisor</strong> to join our team at our Odessa, FL plant.&nbsp;This role is critical to ensure the smooth flow of daily operations within the Shipping &amp; Receiving Department.</span></p><p><span><strong>Why join our team? &nbsp;</strong>Joining our team means gaining access to a suite of competitive benefits designed to take care of you and your family, including:</span></p><ul><li><span>$50,000 annually plus annual employee bonus program</span></li><li><span>Medical, Dental and Vision coverage</span></li><li><span>Life Insurance, Disability, Parental Leave</span></li><li><span>401k with company match</span></li><li><span>Defined benefit pension plan</span></li><li><span>Vacation&nbsp;and holiday time</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><p><strong>Supervisory</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for all supervisory functions of the Shipping/Receiving department operations and employees<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Discipline and manage the growth of subordinate employees<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for reviews/counselling of employees; participate in hiring/firing<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Plan, organize and manage workflow for subordinate staff<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage timecards of subordinate staff: level I&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assure quality of materials being shipped by implementing processes and procedures<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Visually/Physically perform double check on outbound orders, ensuring accuracy of material and qty being shipped<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for the safe practices of all subordinate employees&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Shipping and Receiving</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Create Deliveries for Odessa shipping point<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Route LTL &amp; Truckload shipments by utilizing Mercury Gate freight program<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Process Bill of Ladings through Mercury Gate and SAP; composes BOLs outside of SAP when necessary<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage the outbound flow of LTL orders daily by supervising loading and marking/labeling shipments<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintains stock of shipping materials and supplies used for department<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Package and process small package shipments via Federal Express &amp; UPS<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Keep an open line of communication with tool, sample, purchasing, chemical production and marketing department regarding order fulfilment&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Inspect physical conditions of shipping/receiving warehouse equipment, and order maintenance or repair as necessary<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage export freight from Odessa; coordinate all bookings, compile all related export documentation, supervise, and participate in all FC loadings.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Administrative</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Reconcile all Odessa &amp; 506 freight bills through ITS portal<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;File freight claims with LTL and small package carriers in the event of lost or damaged material/shipments (when necessary)<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for running freight quotes for orders, sales, customer service and/or customers&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist in various functions concerning inventory control, master data maintenance, and other plant related SAP activities&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Report monthly on Odessa service levels to plant manager</p><p><strong>Inventory Control</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for scrap &amp; sample reporting / inventory adjustments in SAP for Finished Product<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in daily cycle count program: Entry, Research, and Posting - Counting when necessary<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in monthly activities related to OSD management as delegated by supervisor<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure stock rotation occurring on floor.&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li><span><strong>Education:</strong>&nbsp;High school diploma or GED required.</span></li><li><p><span><strong>Experience:</strong>&nbsp;1+ years of related experience</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Language: </strong>Read, write, and communicate effectively.</li><li><strong>Math: </strong>Perform basic arithmetic operations.</li><li><strong>Reasoning: </strong>Solve problems with common sense.</li><li><strong>Technical: </strong>Proficient in SAP, Mercury Gate, Word, and Excel.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Euclid Chemical is a fully owned subsidiary of RPM International (NYSE: RPM), one of the world's largest coatings companies.
