    "description": "<h2>Danos Expectation</h2>\n<p>The Cathodic Protective Technician is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and installation of systems that prevent corrosion in various metal structures by performing routine inspections, conducting test to determine system effectiveness, and assisting in troubleshooting any issues that arise. This involves working closely with senior technicians to learn and apply industry-standard practices for inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting these systems. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of cathodic protection systems.</li>\n <li>Install and configure Catholic protection equipment under supervision.</li>\n <li>Analyzes system data to maintain engineered corrosion control systems.</li>\n <li>Implements approved corrosion control methods as specified by Company policy and state and federal regulations.</li>\n <li>Prepares and maintains all required documentation in accordance with Company policy and procedures, including equipment calibration.</li>\n <li>Completes analyses to troubleshoot cathodic protection systems for natural gas distribution & transmission systems.</li>\n <li>Responsible for data integrity and data processing integrity to, within, and from multiple applications through interface design & troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>NACE Cathodic Protection Tester certification required.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li>\n <li>A basic understanding of cathodic protection principles.</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate testing and diagnostic equipment.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.</li>\n <li>Two years’ experience in utility operations or the cathodic protection/corrosion field.</li>\n <li>Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.</li>\n <li>Valid U.S. Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.</li>\n <li>Must meet all conditional job offer requirements, including background check, drug screening, hair follicle test, MVR, agility, and fit for duty.</li>\n <li>Must live within 60 miles of Kenedy, TX.</li>\n</ul>",
