Casino and Hotel Philadelphia is looking for a Security Ambassador to ensure the safety and security of our guests, team members and assets, while providing excellent customer service.</p>\n<p>The Live! Security Ambassadors are the eyes and ears of our casino operations. Whether it’s high or low traffic, you will be constantly moving throughout the property, greeting and assisting guests, and being a key source of information. No event takes place on property without security so there will be plenty of opportunities for overtime. There will be opportunities for growth no matter your level of experience, and in a department that promotes within, this role is an excellent building block for your career at Live!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Greet guests with a smile and a warm welcome</li>\n <li>Check ID cards of guests entering the casino and hotels. Refuse to admit persons under the age of 21 and who cannot show proper authorization or who are carrying weapons or other prohibited items</li>\n <li>Be able to explain the rules, regulations, and code of conduct for the casino and hotels</li>\n <li>Interact with the public in a professional manner when providing assistance, giving directions and responding to inquiries</li>\n <li>Assist with customer disputes and complaints, intoxicated subjects, criminal matters, and traffic control; otherwise refer to management</li>\n <li>Notify supervisor, manager, surveillance and/or Casino and Hotel Operations Manager of any unusual events, incidents, or crimes</li>\n <li>Respond to medical or fire emergencies, such as sick or injured guests.</li>\n <li>Staff the Employee/Visitor Entrance ensuring only authorized personnel enter; maintain a log of visitors and vendors visiting the facilities</li>\n <li>Monitor guest and team member passage in and out of restaurants and gaming areas</li>\n <li>Control traffic congestion in the valet and parking areas</li>\n <li>Write and investigate first reports of injury when applicable</li>\n <li>Assist in transporting money, chips, tokens, and markers</li>\n <li>Responsible for checking for and reporting safety hazards</li>\n <li>Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Skills You'll Need to Succeed</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read/write memos and reports.</li>\n <li>Ability to answer telephones in a professional manner.</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask.</li>\n <li>De-escalation skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate empathy to patrons.</li>\n <li>Good customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver's license.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment </li>\n <li>Ability to be alert at all times.</li>\n <li>Dexterity will be required to perform day to day activities and during an emergency.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>A Few Must Haves</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience: Zero (0) to two (2) years' experience in security with a focus on guest service is preferred.</li>\n <li>License: Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Perks We Offer You</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive health coverage for full-time and part-time Team Members and their eligible dependents</li>\n <li>Free Basic Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Free Short Term & Long-Term Disability </li>\n <li>Retirement Savings with Company Match</li>\n <li>Generous Bonus Structure</li>\n <li>Annual Merit/Goal Based Pay Increases </li>\n <li>Leadership Skills Development & Mentorship Programs</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement</li>\n <li>Free parking</li>\n <li>Free food and discounted meals</li>\n <li>Exclusive Discounts on Travel, Services, Goods and Entertainment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.</li>\n <li>Ability to ascend and descend stairs.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Life at Live!</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>24/7 high energy casino with a culture committed to fairness, teamwork, and most importantly FUN.</li>\n <li>Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.</li>\n <li>You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.</li>\n</ul>",
