We provide fully integrated care for all our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>**Please note to be considered for a position you must attach a resume, complete the application, and answer all screening questions. </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct patient assessments and provide preventative dental care, including cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and X-rays.</li>\n <li>Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene and the importance of dental care.</li>\n <li>Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and support the dentist during procedures.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with medical and behavioral health providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.</li>\n <li>Document visits in our electronic medical record system.</li>\n <li>Support a warm, welcoming environment for patients — many of whom are underserved and in need of accessible, high-quality care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s degree in dental hygiene and Illinois RDH license (Required)</li>\n <li>Certification in local anesthesia (Required)</li>\n <li>Nitrous oxide and sealant application certifications (Preferred)</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (Required)</li>\n <li>Previous experience in general dentistry and working with patients across the lifespan (Preferred)</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Are you intrigued by this job but don’t meet every single requirement?
