This role requires strong technical leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage both project delivery and client relationships at a senior level.</p>\n<p>You will also play a key role in shaping team capability, improving technical standards, and supporting strategic growth within the office.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Do</span></p>\n<p>In this senior role, you will be trusted with significant responsibility and autonomy. You will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the electrical engineering discipline across multiple concurrent projects</li>\n<li>Act as the technical authority for electrical building services design within the team</li>\n<li>Oversee design delivery from concept through to detailed design, construction, and handover</li>\n<li>Develop and approve electrical design strategies aligned with client requirements, regulations, and project objectives</li>\n<li>Manage and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for technical and commercial matters</li>\n<li>Provide technical governance and quality assurance across all electrical project outputs</li>\n<li>Lead coordination with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and external stakeholders</li>\n<li>Review and approve contractor submissions, technical designs, and installation methodologies</li>\n<li>Oversee project budgets, resource planning, and commercial performance of electrical packages</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with relevant European, German, and international electrical standards</li>\n<li>Drive value engineering, technical optimisation, and risk mitigation strategies</li>\n<li>Lead site inspections, technical audits, and ensure design intent is maintained through construction</li>\n<li>Mentor and develop senior and junior engineers, supporting capability growth across the team</li>\n<li>Contribute to business development activities, bids, and technical proposals</li>\n<li>Support strategic planning for the electrical discipline within the Berlin office</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your Experience</span></p>\n<p>To be considered for this role, you should have:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">8+ years’ experience</span> in electrical building services engineering within a consultancy environment</li>\n<li>Proven experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary building projects in Germany</li>\n<li>Strong track record in client-facing and project leadership roles in German</li>\n<li>Experience managing design teams and mentoring engineers at multiple levels  according to German Standards and Building codes</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of electrical building services systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, emergency systems, building automation, vertical transportation, etc.)</li>\n<li>Ability to manage technical delivery, commercial performance, and project risk</li>\n<li>Proficiency in key design tools including:\n<ul>\n<li>AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks</li>\n<li>Nova AVA</li>\n<li>Amtech, Simaris, MagiCAD or equivalent thermal modelling tools</li>\n<li>DIALux</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masters Degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar.
