    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p>SANE/SART Nurse Examiner</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">To conduct medical-forensic assessment, examination and documentation (including forensic photography and evidence collection) for adult, adolescent and pediatric patients reporting a history of sexual assault or abuse.</p><p>Uphold the organization&rsquo;s vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization&rsquo;s policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.</p><p>Essential Functions:</p><p>&bull; Performs medical-forensic assessment, examination, patient care, and documentation per the SANE/SART Program Policies &amp; Procedures and Medical Standing Orders.</p><p>&bull; Develops a discharge plan of care that addresses the patient&rsquo;s needs (medical, emotional and safety) and that contains appropriate referrals.</p><p>&bull; Communicates the exam findings to the patient and the SANE/SART Manager. Communicates with law enforcement, OCS, and CAC when appropriate, per program P&amp;Ps.</p><p>&bull; Participates in the SANE On-Call Schedule as needed by the department.</p><p>&bull; Participates in Quarterly SANE Team meetings for case review, quality assurance, quality improvement, and clinical education.</p><p>&bull; Participates in Monthly CAC MDT meetings and SART MDT meetings for case review, quality assurance, quality improvement and clinical education.</p><p>&bull; Provides testimony in court as an expert/fact witness when subpoenaed.</p><p>&bull; Participates in a preceptor ship with a certified SANE-A or SANE-P to achieve clinical competency and qualification to apply for certification as SANE-A, SANE-P.</p><p>&bull; Travels to villages for education/training of clinic staff and community.</p><p>2</p><p>SANE/SART Nurse Examiner: Effective 5/11/2023</p><p>Personal Traits:</p><p>All Norton Sound Health Corporation employees are expected to consistently demonstrate the organization&rsquo;s values: integrity, cultural sensitivity and respect for traditional values, continual learning and improving, compassion, teamwork, and pride.
