You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Reviews MEP Scopes of Work and equipment pre-purchases for accuracy and completeness</li>\n <li>Assists in the development of the MEP Construction and Commissioning Schedule</li>\n <li>Enforces quality controls policies and inspections on the MEP trades</li>\n <li>Interfaces with commissioning agent to ensure the commissioning process is being executed to meet expectations</li>\n <li>Executes the submittal and RFI review and coordination for MEP disciplines</li>\n <li>Coaches and mentors less experienced team members</li>\n <li>Supports a positive and inclusive work environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering</li>\n <li>3-5 years related field experience</li>\n <li>Previous experience on hyperscale data center construction projects is desired</li>\n <li>OSHA 30 hour certified</li>\n <li>Or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment and manage project subcontractors</li>\n <li>Ability to collaborate on a daily basis with the project team</li>\n <li>Ability to demonstrate both engineering and field supervision capabilities</li>\n <li>MEP construction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt to changing needs by utilizing excellent problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge and appreciation of construction safety processes and ability to enforce the project safety plan</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
