    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>Position Summary:</strong>&nbsp; Foreman is a skilled position in the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical transmission systems. The position may also be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands.</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Works safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair work of energized and de-energized work.</span></li>\n <li><span>Supervises crew members.</span></li>\n <li><span>Possesses working knowledge of leadership and management skills.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be capable of leading and training lower skilled employees in safe and productive work procedures.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be capable of leading and teaching hot stick work on energized lines.</span></li>\n <li><span>Conducts pre-job or tailgate briefings.</span></li>\n <li><span>Possesses a working knowledge of all aspects of line work.</span></li>\n <li><span>Strings overhead wire.</span></li>\n <li><span>Setts poles and anchors.</span></li>\n <li><span>Installs transformers, lightening arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches and switchgear.</span></li>\n <li><span>Troubleshoots problems and supervises troubleshooting in primary and secondary systems.</span></li>\n <li><span>Replaces cutout fuses and clears faulted circuits and systems.</span></li>\n <li><span>Frequently works with energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care to protect the lives of themselves and others.</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintains company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.</span></li>\n <li><span>Able to perform rigorous physical labor.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be familiar with induced voltage.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to properly sag wire.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be capable of properly phasing a circuit through a substation.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to identify and locate puller and tensioner setups.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must understand grounding procedures.</span></li>\n <li><span>Capable of working at heights and/or confined spaces.</span></li>\n <li><span>Capable of properly installing and removing PPE and cover up.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to climb different types of structures (wood, steel, etc.) and possess the necessary tools to do so.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must understand how to safely operate equipment.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must understand how to phase out a line using phasing sticks.</span></li>\n <li><span>Capable of planning safe work based on a job print or work order.</span></li>\n <li><span>Understands how to obtain a one shot on a recloser.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to safely perform a reconductoring job.</span></li>\n <li><span>Capable of safely installing and removing mechanical jumpers.</span></li>\n <li><span>Understands how to use a load bust tool.</span></li>\n <li><span>Able to properly ask for and take line clearances.</span></li>\n <li><span>Able to identify and locate puller and tensioner setups.</span></li>\n <li><span>Possesses a working knowledge of line protection devices.</span></li>\n <li><span>Understands flag and tag procedures.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must be able to work outside, frequently in inclement weather.</span></li>\n <li><span>Does all other related work as required to complete the job.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Other Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <div style=\"margin-bottom:0px; margin-top:0px\">\n   <span>Able to work for extended periods in various locations, when required.</span>\n  </div></li>\n <li>\n  <div style=\"margin-bottom:0px; margin-top:0px\">\n   <span>Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.</span>\n  </div></li>\n <li>\n  <div style=\"margin-bottom:0px; margin-top:0px\">\n   <span>Able to properly inspect rubber goods and PPE.</span>\n  </div></li>\n <li>\n  <div style=\"margin-bottom:0px; margin-top:0px\">\n   <span>Comply with company reporting procedures and complete required company paperwork.</span>\n  </div></li>\n <li>\n  <div style=\"margin-bottom:0px;
