This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service.</p><p>As a field representative of the company, the Service Technician ensures high-quality workmanship,&nbsp;timely&nbsp;service delivery, and professional interaction with clients at all job sites.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Perform all work in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.</li><li>Inspect commercial roofing systems toidentifyleaks, deficiencies, and repair needs.</li><li>Diagnose leak sources and execute effective, long-term repair solutions using compatible materials.</li><li>Install, repair, andmaintainvarious commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal, coatings, etc.).</li><li>Remove and replace damaged roofing components, including insulation, decking, flashing, and related structural elements.</li><li>Accurately measure roof areas and estimate material requirements for service repairs.</li><li>Document service findings, take photos, and complete required job reports using company systems or mobile applications.</li><li>Safely load, transport, and unload materials and equipment using company vehicles.</li><li>Communicate clearly with customersregardingscopeof work, findings, and recommended solutions.</li><li>Assistin training or supervising junior crew members when assigned.</li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW24820526 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW24820526 BCX8\">Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe and working</span><span class=\"NormalTextRun ContextualSpellingAndGrammarErrorV2Themed SCXW24820526 BCX8\">condition</span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW24820526 BCX8\">.</span></span></li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support service operations.</li></ul><p>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</p><ul><li>Strong troubleshooting and leak investigation experience in commercial roofing.</li><li>Working knowledge of low-slope and steep-slope roofing systems and repair techniques.</li><li>Experience with roof coatings, sealants, flashing details, and waterproofing applications.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.</li><li>Ability to read work orders and follow detailed instructions.</li><li>Proficiencywith hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment.</li><li>Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations.</li><li>Ability tooperatea smartphone or tablet for job documentation and reporting.</li><li>Strong teamwork and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to pass background checks for government or secure facility access (whenrequired).</li></ul><p>Education &amp; Experience</p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 2+ years of commercial roof repair experiencerequired.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license preferred (clean driving record may berequired).</li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW24820526 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW24820526 BCX8\">Rigging and signaling certification a plus.</span></span></li><li>Leadership or crew supervision experience preferred.</li></ul><p>Physical Requirements</p><ul><li>Ability to work at heights and on various roof slopes safely.</li><li>Ability to climb, carry, and safely position ladders.</li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.</li></ul></div></div>\n",
