Located in Haliburton, Ontario, Towhee positively changes the trajectory of kids and staffs lives. This will be one of the most rewarding, magical and hardest places you will ever work. We provide 15 days of training covering behaviour management, counselling skills, CPI, mental health and learning disabilities.</span><br><br><span style=\"color:#000000;\">If you are interested in a career in the social services, psychology or teaching and/or want to play a pivotal role in supporting children and youth in feeling safe enough to be their genuine amazing selves - Towhee is the place for you to get real experience, skill building, and be part of that change.</span><br><br><strong>Who we need</strong><br>Counsellor Supervisor should be a dynamic relationship builder and team player with a passion for understanding and supporting children/youth, a willingness to learn about the impacts of mental health and learning disabilities, and a passion for helping campers experience success.<br><br>Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Counselling, the Counsellor Supervisor is responsible for providing on-going support and feedback to staff when needed and requested. Located in Haliburton, Ontario, Towhee positively changes the trajectory of kids and staffs lives. This will be one of the most rewarding, magical and hardest places you will ever work. These staff and their cabins will be the Counsellor Supervisors primary responsibility. sans-serif;\">Directly supervising, supporting, and mentoring counselling staff, to promote the safe, fun, and flexible environment that makes Towhee successful. </span></span></li><li style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Perform as a part of the greater Towhee Supervisor Team, which includes the development of staff training, team style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Assisting counsellors and other staff with pre-camp training and preparation. </span></span></li><li camp by providing direct support and supervision of campers during mealtimes, evening programs, bedtime routines and night supervision. </span></span></li><li
