    "description": "<p>The women&rsquo;s lacrosse assistant coach supports the head coach of women&rsquo;s lacrosse in leading the program.&nbsp; In that support role, the assistant coach is responsible for helping to operate a women&rsquo;s&nbsp;lacrosse program for student athletes, with differing abilities and skills, and serves as a role model to student athletes.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\nThe successful candidate must be able to:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Oversee individual group drills in practice, especially defensive</li>\r\n\t<li>Evaluate personnel on an ongoing basis</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist the head coach in all aspects of game and practice preparation</li>\r\n\t<li>Mentor and monitor student-athletes&#39; academic progress</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA, SAC and Emory &amp; Henry College</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Analyze performance and instruct athletes in skills, techniques, and strategies in preparation for competition and during contests</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist the head coach, as directed, in the coordination of general administrative duties (including budgeting, game scheduling, travel plans, meeting requests for information, and business procedures)</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicate with the athletic trainer, Director of Athletics Communication, the Sports Information Director, Associate Director of Athletics, and department administrators as directed by the head coach</li>\r\n\t<li>As directed by the head coach, plan, organize, implement, and evaluate recruiting and scouting activities</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist, as directed by the head coach, the Associate Director of Athletics in matters for&nbsp;which he/she is responsible including ordering and inventorying of equipment, and maintenance and use of facilities for contests and practices</li>\r\n\t<li>Adhere to and follow all rules and guidelines of Emory &amp; Henry College, SAC, and the NCAA</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>Secondary Duties:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Other duties as assigned</li>\r\n\t<li>Some game day management requirements</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
