    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.46.11/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"> <div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.23.21/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"> <p id=\"isPasted\">This is a per diem position located in Plumas County, California.&nbsp;</p><p>Within this general framework, this position is accountable for the following functions:</p><ul><li>Ultimately responsible for all aspects of patient care from the time of patient contact until transfer to a higher level of care.</li><li>Provide consistent, high quality prehospital care as outlined by the REMSA/Care Flight Standard of Care, Nor Cal Protocols, and accepted local and national treatment doctrines.</li><li>Drives and operates ambulances and other company vehicles safely, in accordance with established emergency driving guidelines.</li><li>Provide an exemplary, safe, professional demeanor at all times.</li><li>Acts as a catalyst for absolute integrity, confidentiality, and competency with patients, their families, the public, other agencies, coworkers, and REMSA management.</li><li>Maintain currency of all required certifications and licenses.</li><li>Provide feedback to management for improvement of working conditions, patient care, and system performance.</li><li>Responsible for timely, legible, highly accurate recordkeeping.</li><li>Assumes the role as educator for the public, students, and coworkers.</li><li>Cooperates with other members of the REMSA team, including management and co-workers.</li><li>Provide support to Plumas District Hospital by working in the Emergency Room.</li><li>Must be able to work overtime as required.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Qualifications/ Experience Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Paramedic certification in the State of California required.</li><li>Nor Cal Certification required.</li><li>American Heart Association ACLS required.</li><li>American Heart Association PALS certification required.</li><li>American Heart Association BLS/CPR required.</li><li>Current ITLS or equivalent required.&nbsp;</li><li>CA Ambulance Driver&rsquo;s License with Medical Examiner&rsquo;s Certification.&nbsp;</li><li>Valid California or Nevada Driver&rsquo;s license required with a clean driving record.&nbsp;</li><li>Low angle rope rescue certification preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Must possess excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.</li><li>Maintains a positive working attitude.</li><li>Self-starter requiring little oversight.</li><li>Must be adaptable to change and able to function in a team based management structure.</li><li>Must be able to work overtime as required.</li></ul><p><em>Additional skills:</em></p><ul><li>Experience operating an emergency vehicle a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in a ALS system a plus.</li><li>Pre-hospital experience a plus. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience in EMS and public education; field or classroom a plus.</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
