Today we’re delighted to have over 1,700 smart, experienced and fun team members across the state, all with one purpose in mind – building great customer experiences one person at a time. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>JOB PURPOSE</u></strong><strong>:</strong>  </p>\n<p>This full-time position contributes to Blarney Castle’s success by assisting the store manager in providing work direction to a team of store associates to create and maintain our standards of service, cleanliness, and product quality for our customers. The shift supervisor will be responsible for supervising operations by deploying employees and delegating tasks to ensure BCOC’s standards of service are met and are closely adhered to. </p>\n<p><strong><em>Your Role</em></strong><u></u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Your duties will be performed during the any shift, based on business needs. </li>\n <li>Be willing to work at different locations, as directed by your District Manager, based on business needs. </li>\n <li>Displays a customer comes first attitude by ensuring every customer is provided with immediate and undivided attention of the staff.</li>\n <li>Identifies, communicates, and delegates appropriate responsibilities to employees to ensure a smooth flow of operations.</li>\n <li>Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, and timely coaching to employees on shift to ensure operational excellence and improve employee performance.</li>\n <li>Assists with new employee training by positively reinforcing successful performance and providing respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. Provides feedback to store manager on employee’s performance during shift.</li>\n <li>Ensures that inventory levels are properly maintained within c-store operations to established standards.</li>\n <li>Develops positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, need and concerns. </li>\n <li>Follows BCOC’s operational policies, and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety, and security. Assists in ensuring the safety of employees during their shift and properly documents any incidents that occur. </li>\n <li>Must be able to complete Company sponsored training and required updates within specified training periods. </li>\n <li>Must be willing and able to complete necessary store paperwork at various locations the employee works at.</li>\n <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are necessary to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately to ensure effective store operations to employees.</li>\n <li>Assists in maintaining an environment for effective teamwork where employees feel valued and respected. </li>\n <li>Consistently exhibits good math skills to calculate change, volume sales, tax percentages, balance cash registers, and to calculate deli inventory usage, weights, costs, and volumes.</li>\n <li>Provides feedback to store manager on team’s performance during shift. </li>\n <li>Regular and predictable attendance and presence at work is required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work primarily any shift, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li>\n <li>Sit/stand for several hours in a row, be able to lift 50 pounds throughout the assigned shift to move, stack, store, and handle inventory. Must be able to stand, stoop and bend for extended periods.  Must be able to work inside coolers to stock and maintain inventory.  Must be able to ascend and descend safely a five-foot ladder. </li>\n <li>Your mileage will be submitted in an organized and prompt manner monthly.  </li>\n <li>Organizes and executes duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Must be able to provide valid proof of car insurance.</li>\n <li>Must be able to perform store banking duties, including driving to the bank. </li>\n <li>High school diploma or GED is required along with progressively responsible retail experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Do We Have Benefits? </em></strong>You bet!
