Integrated into the Phillips Academy community, the Visiting Scholar will contribute to the intellectual development of teaching and learning efforts related to AI. The Visiting Scholar will teach occasional classes; lead community-wide workshops; convene students, faculty, staff, and administrators; and contribute to broader scholarship efforts related to AI and education and in alignment with institutional goals. Reporting to the Tang Institute Director and working closely with the Head of School and Dean of Studies, the Visiting Scholar will serve as a mentor to students and colleagues within departments and offices across Phillips Academy.</span></p><p data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1;\">Relevant academic and/or professional expertise in the field(s) of artificial intelligence and education.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1;\">Demonstrated record of scholarly or professional achievement related to AI and/or AI and education.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1;\">Experience teaching in a K-12 and/or higher education setting or settings.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1;\">Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an academic or research environment.</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1;\">Experience conducting professional development programming.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1;\">A record of synthesizing and sharing research with public audiences.</li><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1;\">A research agenda or project aimed at contributing to the field of AI and education.</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px;\">PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1;\">Engage the community. Conduct independent and/or collaborative research related to AI and teaching and learning. Contribute to publications and other scholarly and public-facing outputs.
