    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sapphire Utility Solutions are seeking a Class 2 HGV driver to operate our Gully Wagons on our Highways Division based in Bamber Bridge.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Driving / Operating one of our specialist highways HGV vehicles. We utilise a state of the art system called Samsara that allows drivers to report defects on a daily basis to ensure vehicle is safe and roadworthy at all times.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Part of your role as a HGV driver will be to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use at start of shift. You will be expected to integrate into the highways department where we currently have long standing contracts with several councils, these include Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Wigan and Cumbria.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The role will include gully cleaning, drainage investigation, cctv of highway drainage and working closely with our TM department on strategically critical highway routes to ensure roads users can go about their business on a daily basis. There is an element of IT capability required however this is minimal and full training will be given.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Sapphire we like to invest in our people so full mandatory training will be provided as part of the role to ensure all employees are working safely and competently.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Leyland</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours: </span>50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm)</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: </span>£35,750 per annum (Overtime paid at a time and a half)</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bonus: </span>Based on productivity.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">full-time</span> position within a growing, and busy department.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities - but not limited to:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>To operate a Highway HGV vehicle would be advantageous, but training will be given to the right candidate.</li>\n<li>Report defects in a timely manner.</li>\n<li>Time keeping is imperative and lateness will not be tolerated.</li>\n<li>Full PPE will be issued and must be worn at all times whilst on site.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience and qualifications required for the role:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>HGV class 2 driving license (essential)</li>\n<li>Excellent listening and communication skills</li>\n<li>Team player</li>\n<li>Positive, can-do attitude</li>\n<li>CPC License and Tacho card (essential)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will get in return:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In joining Sapphire Utility Solutions - we are committed to fostering a workplace culture that prioritises the well-being, growth, and safety of our employees.
