    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The University of Southern Maine’s Osher School of Music is seeking a temporary/part-time House Manager for the Fall 2026 Semester.</p>\n<p>In this role, the House Manager will manage front-of-house operations for Osher School of Music performances and events, as well as external rentals for the Crewe Center for the Arts as needed and assigned.&nbsp; The House Manager serves as the primary point of contact for patrons on event nights, oversees a team of work-study students and volunteer ushers to ensure a smooth and welcoming concert experience.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Responsibilities include training and coordinating front-of-house student work-study staff, managing patron flow and seating, liaising with the USM Parking Department to coordinate patron parking logistics, and handling post-concert revenue deposits. The ideal candidate is a reliable, people-oriented professional who is comfortable in a fast-paced live event environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional patron experience.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>This is a temporary, part-time in person position on our Portland campus and will pay $22 - $25/hour depending on experience.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https://usm.maine.edu/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">University of Southern Maine</a>&nbsp;is a vibrant academic community located in the greater Portland, Maine area, including campuses in Portland, Gorham, Lewiston, and online.
