Document teams&rsquo; projects and improvement processes, ROIs, and involvement.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with production personnel seeking methods to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide daily production support.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in the implementation of Lean production and systems throughout the Valve Division.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform and analyze root causes of failures and create corrective action plans.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Create and manage processes essential to ensure product quality. Analyze quality data and trends.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Design systems and capture data for performance metrics and display with visual techniques.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in the development and documentation of efficient manufacturing and assembly processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Create standard work procedures for manufacturing and assembly.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Implement and train in Lean techniques and Six Sigma processes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in developing and maintaining the safety program.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead/participate in periodic Kaizen events.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Minimum Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong><em>&nbsp;</em></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent combination of years of experience and education.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2 years&rsquo; experience implementing Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High levels of patience and desire are required to support multiple personality types in the production environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced work environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Self-directed and able to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Good oral and written communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong desire to work within a team environment.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work Environment:&nbsp;</strong>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential job functions of this job.
