We are looking for a<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Junior Engineer </span>to join our team!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As Validation Engineer you'll be a part of our Managed Services department, working in an engaging, fast-paced environment with our client, a multinational enterprise company, to ensure that next-generation Non-Volatile Nand memory products meet the design requirements. <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>This is a hybrid position; 3 days on-site, 2 days remote. The client is located on Marine Drive, South Vancouver, British Columbia. Please<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> only apply if you are located in the Vancouver and lower mainland areas, or if you are willing to relocate</span>.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p>· Contribute to the development, validation, and optimization of SSD product lines</p>\n<p>· Detect test failures, perform triage, create defect reports and ensure timely and accurate resolution is provided</p>\n<p>· Participate in peer code reviews and defect management</p>\n<p>· Contribute bug fixing and validation of SSD firmware and NVMe features on complex embedded multi-core architectures</p>\n<p>· Collaborate with Firmware Engineers to optimize NVMe features of high-performance firmware and software for next-generation SSD products</p>\n<p>· Provide clear status to domain leads on the development and test status</p>\n<p>· Report sightings and pre-sightings for any suspected FW issues</p>\n<p>· Use of diagnostics/debugging tools to analyze reported design bugs</p>\n<p>· Join monthly and quarterly meetings with client representatives as the technical representative</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><span>· 1-3 years of programming experience in C/C++, and Python (this skill is a must as all 3 languages are used in this role)</span></p>\n<p>· Experience with git or similar source control repository systems</p>\n<p>· Understanding of ASIC architecture and code optimization is a plus</p>\n<p>· Strong analytical problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, and a mindset of continuous improvement</p>\n<p>· Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals</p>\n<p>· Experience with Atlassian Suite or similar management tools</p>\n<p>· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science Degree or related concentration, equivalent and/or combination of education and work experience</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who You Are:</span></p>\n<p>· An excellent communicator in written and spoken English - you feel comfortable presenting your ideas to others</p>\n<p>· Quality-focused and detail-oriented - you pay attention to details and can’t stand sloppy work</p>\n<p>· You believe that everything can be done, a can-do attitude</p>\n<p>· You are a problem solver</p>\n<p>· You’re driven and do not need to be micromanaged; you take initiative and don’t wait around for problems or quality concerns to surface before brainstorming a fix</p>\n<p>· You like to learn.
