Headquartered in Cordova, TN, Stratas Foods is a 50/50 joint venture formed in October 2008 between ACH Food Companies and Archer Daniels Midland Company.  Stratas Foods is built on the combined strengths and expertise of these two great parent companies, laid down over the course of over 200 years of combined experience.  Stratas will continue to build on this foundation of excellence by providing value added, branded and custom formulated fats and oils solutions to the Food Service, Food Ingredient and Retail sectors.  At Stratas Foods we are committed to being the most valued supplier of fats, oils, dressings, mayonnaise and salad dressings to the private label retail bottled oils market in the United States. Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Hillside, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA.  Corporate offices are located in Memphis, TN.  We are committed to maintaining a progressive workplace by utilizing the ideas, skills and talents of all of our employees.  We strive to make Stratas Foods a great place to work and are building a team capable of meeting our business goals. This position is an entry level position on the manufacturing floor. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required. The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized forklift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Keep lines stocked with packaging materials Operate production lines through breaks and lunches Run production line when Operator is not available Fill out appropriate paper work while covering for Line Operator Basic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment Knowledge of basic operation for equipment on line Understand and perform basic tasks as needed within the M3 inventory system Support production goals and progress through communication and teamwork with Operators Education:   High School Diploma or equivalent -  REQUIRED & VERIFIED Related Experience :  Previous relevant experience preferred, but not required. Equipment/Software Skills : Basic computer knowledge - data entry Competencies: Be active and participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams Learn and follow written rules and procedures Produce accurate documentation Maintain acceptable attendance Must be willing and able to learn various positions Must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies Salary Range:  $41,600 - $50,648 / Annually Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, more.
