    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">SUMMARY:</h2><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Under the direction of the Director of Security &amp; Surveillance, the Security Officer Level III is a uniformed and armed position responsible for providing security services to a specific security location/site. This position requires a minimum of state issued Level III Security Guard license. The Security Officer Level III encompasses a higher level of responsibility, including armed security duties, advanced conflict resolution, and incident response. Security Officer Level III must deliver critical safety and security services in a business-oriented, courteous, customer service, and in a professional manner. Security Officers Level III is responsible for enforcing the laws, rules, and regulations under the Santa Clara Development Corporation, Federal, State, and Tribal government codes. Responsibilities include securing assigned areas, conducting detailed investigations, collecting evidence, and preparing timely and accurate reports. Duties involve crime prevention, responding to emergencies, use of force when necessary, testifying in court proceedings, and ensuring the protection of life and property. Security Officer Level III may be assigned to specialized assignments and high-risk locations/sites that require armed security and a greater level of responsibility. The Security Officer Level III also collaborates, initiates, and supports opportunities with other functions by championing the goals and priorities of the Santa Clara Development Corporation in a manner that faithfully reflects and upholds its mission, vision, and values.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>SCDC CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul start=\"5\" style=\"margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Any Kha&rsquo;P&rsquo;o Security Services personnel operating under a contract with Santa Clara Development Corporation (SCDC) is required to follow the job description set forth and outlined below by SCDC. The SCDC Human Resources is responsible for ensuring that all contracted employees understand their duties and responsibilities at this location. Each Security Officer, whether employed directly by SCDC or through a contracted company must review this job description, sign it, and submit it to Human Resources prior to performing duties.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong> include but are not limited to the following:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul start=\"5\" style=\"margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be certified through the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department (RLD) standardized training curriculum for Level III Security Officers.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Required to carry approved Level III security equipment, including but not limited to a firearm, tactical vest, chemical agents, baton, handcuffs, and other defensive tools.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides armed security services to patrol assigned areas, observe premises, and deter criminal activity while adhering to applicable laws, policies, and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Protects designated areas, including employees, guests, assets, facilities, and operations, through diligent patrol and monitoring.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responds to emergency calls such as intrusions, disturbances, fires, medical incidents, and active threats; takes immediate action to control the situation, provide first aid if necessary, and coordinate with law enforcement.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Engages in crisis intervention and conflict resolution, ensuring de-escalation techniques are applied to minimize risk.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Utilizes multiple communication systems to coordinate emergency response and relay critical information to law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical personnel.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conducts thorough investigations, gathers evidence, and prepares detailed reports to support legal proceedings and internal reviews.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs crowd control duties during special events or emergencies, ensuring safe pedestrian and vehicle movement.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitors surveillance systems and alarm systems to detect suspicious activity and mitigate potential threats.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conducts access control measures at high-security areas, verifying credentials and preventing unauthorized access.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Directs employees and guests to safe areas during emergencies and provides leadership in evacuation procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintains the care and control of authorized equipment, including regular inspections and adherence to safety protocols.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists in the development and implementation of site-specific emergency response plans.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs other duties as assigned to support efficient security operations and enhance safety protocols.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Delivers reports, analysis, records, recordings, and data to the appropriate groups and/or individuals.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conducts threat analysis and risk assessments coordinating with Director of Security &amp; Surveillance.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provides critical safety and security services by patrolling assigned areas to observe the grounds and facilities of the organization in a manner consistent with guidelines and applicable laws, policies, and procedures to deter criminal activity. Secure key entry and exit points across the enterprise at designated stationary post assignments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensures establishment and its surrounding premises are always protected by providing security services to employees, customers, assets, facilities, and operations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conducts investigations by analyzing and verifying information through various investigative techniques. Interviews victims, witnesses and suspects as needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Completes accurate written reports in a timely manner and in compliance with departmental procedures and makes oral reports as needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responds to various emergency calls for service such as fires, injuries, accidents, robberies, intrusion alarms, bomb, and other threats.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Initiates immediate action to control the threat, provide first responder aid or render appropriate assistance and document all relevant activities.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Accurately documents, secures, and preserves incident scenes, photographs incident scenes, takes victim/witness statements, collects, and preserves evidence following all prescribes rules, regulations, policies, and laws.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Receives, screens, enters, dispatches, and monitors high volume of emergency and non-emergency calls. Tracks availability status of all security, maintains regular contact with all units on emergency and non-emergency assignment, maintains and tracks current location of security units, accurately maintain, and updates daily computerized log.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitors emergency alarm systems, analyzes recorded and live surveillance video to detect any suspicious activity which may pose a risk to employees, vendors, and customers. Accurately reads, interprets, inputs and relays information obtained from employees, customers, and law enforcement personnel into the computerized software.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Become familiar with hazardous materials used on property, and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supports and reinforces enterprise standards and procedures designed to provide a best-in-class guest experience.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operations of the department.</li></ul></div><h2 style=\"margin-left:0in;\">EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:</h2><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul start=\"5\" style=\"margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High School Diploma or GED required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be at least 21 years of age.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Clean criminal background, with no felony convictions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">All candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">All candidates will be required to obtain and maintain state license.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">All candidates will be required to obtain New Mexico State Security Guard Level 3 license</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have a valid Driver&rsquo;s License.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have excellent customer service skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have the ability to observe situations analytically and objectively.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to record information accurately and completely.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must accurately recall and express oneself clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must remain calm under stressful conditions, exercise reasonable judgment and make sound decisions especially during emergency situations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must abide by Santa Clara Development Corporation policies &amp; procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must abide by Kha&rsquo;P&rsquo;o Security Services LLC polices &amp; procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must demonstrate the ability to produce well-written documents with regards to spelling, grammar, punctuation, organization, and content as evidenced by a written assignment or test during the hiring process.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have strong computer skills and ability to utilize Microsoft applications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must always maintain good attendance record.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must successfully participate in mandated in-house training.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Based on business operations, the candidate may be assigned to work overtime when needed.
