Expanding Access to Music Therapy – Lead outreach efforts, demonstrations, and community education initiatives to highlight the role of music as a tool for wellness and recovery.
Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Art Therapist (LPAT) to join our team! As an LPAT, you will utilize your artistic skills and therapeutic expertise to help patients address a variety of mental health challenges and promote emotional, creative, and spiritual growth. In this rewarding role, you will work with the patients who have a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, past trauma, PTSD, phobias and behavioral disorders to help resolve stress or anxiety and improve their self-awareness.

Posted Salary Range USD $28.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.
Wage Commensuration The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Completes an initial assessment to determine a patient’s needs.
Completes follow-up assessments regularly to determine the effectiveness of treatment.
Develops an individualized treatment plan that incorporates creative expression, psychotherapy and counseling techniques.
Establishes goals for individual sessions and long-term objectives for therapy.
Uses art to open discussions regarding the patients’ individual challenge.
Instructs patients on using different mediums, such as paint, clay, etc.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must have a Master's degree in art therapy or counseling.
Prior experience working in a Behavioral Health Hospital preferred.
Must have certification or license based on state requirements.
Must have reliable transportation
