    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Directly reporting to the Director of Endodontics, with a dotted line to the Director of Clinical Education, and the Executive Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs, Endodontic faculty are responsible for direct patient care and mentoring/teaching students within Touro College of Dental Medicine's clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico.</p>\n<p>                   </p>\n<p>**Touro College of Dental Medicine (Albuquerque, New Mexico Clinic) is currently hiring multiple Endodontics Instructors.*****</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Initiate and guide student doctor/patient interaction</li>\n <li>Perform dental procedures on patients of the clinic as needed</li>\n <li>Model and advise students on professionalism and patient management techniques</li>\n <li>Assist in solving patient related problems</li>\n <li>Assist the Director of Endodontics in their view of each student's performance within the endodontic clinic</li>\n <li>Assuring accuracy of student clinical notes, approving student procedural code, and evaluating/assessing student in the areas of Preparedness, Professionalism, Promptness</li>\n <li>Monitoring for unapproved notes of treatments on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis</li>\n <li>Report instances of misconduct to the Director of Endodontics</li>\n <li>Maintaining calibration as determined by the Director of Clinical Education as well as:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Ensuring all clinical protocols are being followed in their clinical areas</li>\n   <li>Infection Control Compliance</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Complete Reviews of student activity upon request</li>\n <li>Aid in supervision of Clinical Formative and Summative Examination Process</li>\n <li>Attend periodic meetings with the Director of Endodontics and attend clinical faculty meetings, including Faculty Forum</li>\n <li>Membership, if appointed, on relevant Clinical Committees</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h4>Education/Experience</h4>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Required Qualifications</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>D.D.S./DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school or equivalent.</li>\n   <li>Certificate of training and educationally qualified from an ADA-accredited specialty program.</li>\n   <li>Dental License Registration; must be eligible for licensure in the state of New Mexico.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Previous teaching experience.</li>\n   <li>DEA number.</li>\n   <li>Board Eligible or Certified.</li>\n   <li>A track record of scholarly activity and outstanding patient care, as well as demonstration of or likely commitment to diversity-related teaching/research/service.</li>\n   <li>Engagement and familiarity in curriculum development and digital dentistry technology and experience in faculty calibration.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>A high degree of interpersonal competency: Professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues.</li>\n <li>Ability to organize tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Travel</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>As needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Maximum Salary</h2>\n<h2>Minimum Salary</h2>",
