This position will also provide direct support to students via small groups or push-in support. This person will also facilitate training or professional development for the ELA team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 112, 192)\">Status of Position</span></span></p>\n<p><span>This is a full-time position with Académie Lafayette. This is an exempt position pursuant to the U.S. Department of Labor.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 112, 192)\">Reporting</span></span></p>\n<p><span>The ELA Reading Interventionist reports to their campus/building principal.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 112, 192)\">Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide research-based direct instruction in small intervention groups</li>\n<li>Participate in ongoing professional development in reading instruction</li>\n<li>Assist building principal and district leadership in coordination of school assessment plan</li>\n<li>Provide support to grade level teachers in strategies to support at-risk students<br></li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with the building team to provide parent support and education</li>\n<li>Maintain, analyze and disseminate student data</li>\n<li>Create and maintain Reading Success Plans to meet required state deadlines</li>\n<li>Collaborate with district intervention team and leadership</li>\n<li>Participate in the district professional development committee</li>\n<li><span>Other responsibilities as assigned by principal</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 112, 192)\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Bachelor’s degree in elementary education or related field</span></li>\n<li><span>Hold or be eligible for a Missouri teaching certificate in elementary education, with preference for candidates who have special reading certification</span></li>\n<li><span>Proven experience as a teacher</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 112, 192)\">Other Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Must pass a state and federal fingerprint background check through MACHS.</span></li>\n<li><span>Must be registered or get registered with the Family Care Safety Registry.</span></li>\n</ul>",
