Our platform empowers enterprises to create modern solutions to the world's problems.</p>\n<p>As a Senior Software Engineer you be responsible for:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Creating new features, or enhance existing functionality, from design through testing and deployment</li>\n <li>Working in an agile sprint environment to deliver quality software on a regular and consistent basis</li>\n <li>Measuring and optimizing distributed system performance</li>\n <li>Collaborating with our architecture, QA and operational teams to create a world class storage service</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Do what you love</strong></p>\n<p>To be successful in this role you will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field</li>\n <li>Have experience working with Kubernetes and in an agile DevOps environment</li>\n <li>Have extensive experience developing software in a distributed, micro-services environment and with Golang or C++</li>\n <li>Have a track record of delivering reliable and secure software</li>\n <li>Have good knowledge of object storage and block storage technologies within cloud environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Build your career at Akamai</strong></p>\n<p>Our ability to shape digital life today relies on developing exceptional people like you. The base salary for this position ranges from $106,600 - $221,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
