    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Hendricks County </span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Job Description:</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Title:</span>  Part-Time Maintenance                     </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">FLSA Status</span>: Non-Exempt</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Department:</span>  Parks and Recreation              </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary:</span></p>\n<p>      To assist with general landscape and building maintenance duties.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Job Functions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform general landscape duties as directed.</li>\n<li>Maintain, clean, and make basic repairs of landscape equipment.</li>\n<li>Assist Park Manager with building and facility maintenance.</li>\n<li>Diligent compliance to all safety procedures.</li>\n<li>Displaying an exceptionally helpful and friendly attitude to all parks visitors.</li>\n<li>Ability to work without direct supervision for long periods of time.</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must at least 18 years old to apply for this position.</li>\n<li>Experience with standard landscape maintenance equipment</li>\n<li>Ability to effectively and politely assist staff and members of the public.</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.</li>\n<li>A high degree of pride in work performed and self-motivation is essential.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">License or Certificates</span>:</p>\n<p>Must possess a valid driver’s license and the demonstration of a safe driving record.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions and Physical Demands:</span></p>\n<p>      Duties will be performed primarily outdoors during all seasons of the year.  This position requires the ability to walk/stand for long periods of time, walking on uneven terrain, and lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Persons in this position must be responsible and feel comfortable working alone for hours at a time.
