Community Support Specialists play a key role in supporting clients through their recovery journey by connecting them to resources, reinforcing treatment goals, and helping them build stability in their daily lives.</span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"display:block;font-size:16px;\"><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify; margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Manage and actively engage a caseload of clients receiving treatment for substance use disorders through in-person and phone interactions. </span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify; margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Support clients in progressing through recovery by reinforcing treatment goals, relapse prevention strategies, and overall stability.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify; margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Build trust with hard-to-engage clients and promote consistent participation in treatment services, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT).</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify; margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Help reduce barriers to recovery by connecting clients to housing, employment, education, and other community supports.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify; margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Coordinate care and provide transportation to treatment appointments, including MAT services, using your personal vehicle as outlined in client treatment plans.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify; margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Document client progress, services, and interactions in the Carelogic electronic health record (EHR) system.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify; margin-bottom:13px; margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical and clinical staff, to support continuity of care and positive treatment outcomes.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"display:block;font-size:16px;\"><strong>Requirements of the Position</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field, or four (4) years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Valid driver&rsquo;s license, current auto insurance, and a reliable, registered vehicle available for work use, including transporting clients.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Two (2)+ years of experience in a substance use, behavioral health, or related setting preferred.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Knowledge of community resources and health/social service systems in the Kansas City metro area preferred.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Strong ability to build relationships and engage clients in a recovery-oriented environment.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.</span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-bottom:13px; margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"display:block;font-size:16px;\"><strong>Grow With Us</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p>We&rsquo;re committed to your professional development and will support your growth as a Community Support Specialist through training, collaboration, and meaningful work.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Ready to join a team that&rsquo;s passionate about people?
