    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">As a <strong>Product Engineer </strong>for Medium 3 Phase UPS, you will provide technical leadership and functional expertise to support the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of our global medium UPS product line (typically 50–500kVA). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet design and market requirements, drive value engineering initiatives, and support field applications and service teams. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about power electronics, reliability, and customer-focused innovation.&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Delaware, OH location.</p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and support product development and sustaining activities for medium 3-phase UPS systems.</li>\n <li>Transfer lessons learned from field applications to engineering and design teams.</li>\n <li>Develop and execute engineering test cases; interpret and report results.</li>\n <li>Occasionally interact with customers directly, either in support of quoting/sales or in response to problems.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Invent, prototype, test and implement design changes to prevent recurrence of a problem, pursue cost-out opportunities or add value to a product.</li>\n <li>Evaluate alternative components and solutions for product improvement.</li>\n <li>Provide technical support for special field applications and service issues.</li>\n <li>Coordinate change order processes and produce required technical documentation (drawings, specifications, etc.).</li>\n <li>Collaborate with manufacturing, service, and testing teams to define product specifications and test plans.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.</li>\n <li>Support continuous improvement initiatives and foster a customer-first mindset.</li>\n <li>Occasionally operate test equipment up to 480VAC and 1.6MW in support of the activities above.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Occasionally design, build, and modify simple test equipment.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or related field).</li>\n <li>3-8 years’ experience in any of the following areas is desirable:&nbsp;\n  <ul>\n   <li>Datacenter operations&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Commercial or industrial power infrastructure&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Uninterruptible power supplies&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Firmware development&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Sensor &amp; microprocessor integration&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Remote condition monitoring&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Li-ion battery management&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Power Conversion</li>\n   <li>Low Voltage Electrical Distribution.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of electrical power components and assemblies.</li>\n <li>Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes.</li>\n <li>Excellent planning, analytical, and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.</li>\n <li>Customer-focused and willing to travel as needed.</li>\n <li>Proficient in English (written and verbal).</li>\n <li>Experience with technical documentation and engineering test procedures.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with value engineering and cost analysis.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of NEC or NFPA 855 is desirable but not required.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of mechanical design 2-dimensional CAD is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with modular UPS systems, lithium-ion battery integration, or renewable energy solutions.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with AI-enabled monitoring, predictive maintenance, or smart grid technologies.</li>\n <li>Understanding of global compliance standards (UL, IEC, etc.).</li>\n <li>Advanced troubleshooting and field support experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Physical &amp;
