Come be a part of a positive, people-first culture that is focused on leveraging each team members&rsquo; strengths to help bring our customers&rsquo; unique signage products to life.</p><p><strong>Wage Range:&nbsp;</strong>$22.29 - $29.81</p><p><strong>Location:&nbsp;</strong>Decorah, IA</p><p><strong>Type:</strong> Full Time</p><p><strong>Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>4 10-hour days 3:30 pm - 2:00 am, Monday through Thursday</p><ul><li>The posted range is inclusive of an additional 10% shift premium for working on 2nd shift.</li><li>Overtime is scheduled as needed.</li></ul><p>A day in the life of a Foundry Specialist at Gemini includes:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Pours molten metal into molds, observing and adjusting to achieve acceptable, repeatable results.</li><li>Troubleshoots problems encountered in the pouring process and actively gathers feedback on quality of castings</li><li>Charges and maintains the melting furnace in preparation for pouring.</li><li>Ensures proper melt by adjusting temperatures, cleaning, and preparing as required.</li><li>Assembles all components of sand-molds, placing adhesive and insuring proper alignment.</li><li>Utilizes multiple hand tools - saws, drills, sanders</li></ul><p><strong><u>Skills and Abilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to lift 50lbs frequently and 75lbs occasionally.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains responsibility for the safety of oneself and other employees in the work area.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></strong></p><div style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;'><ul style=\"margin-bottom:0in;list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;'><span style=\"font-size:15px;\">High level of mechanical aptitude</span><span style=\"font-size:15px;\"><br></span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><em>This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
