          "text": "<p>We have an exciting opportunity for a Drafting Technician or Technologist. The role will be under our Infrastructure team in Ottawa which supports municipal and land development projects. The Drafting Technician works with engineers to produce plans and schematics and performs certain basic calculations.</p><p>You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in our Ottawa office.</p><p><strong>Primary</strong><strong> </strong><strong>Responsibilities</strong>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Participate in the design and production of plans and profiles using AutoCAD / Civil 3D tools for municipal infrastructure and land development projects.</li><li>3D modeling, quantity calculation and design optimization.</li><li>Assist the project team in the design of drinking water, sewer and urban technical networks, site grading, drainage, and more.</li><li>Ensure plans comply with current guidelines, specifications, codes, regulations, and client specific standards.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement of work methods and processes.</li></ul>",
