If you take pride in a clean space, enjoy staying active, and like being part of a team that keeps the hotel running smoothly, this role is a great fit.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas</p></li>\n <li><p>Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, fixtures, and decorative elements</p></li>\n <li><p>Empty trash and recycling, replace liners, and ensure waste areas remain clean</p></li>\n <li><p>Clean and restock public restrooms with towels, tissue, soap, and other supplies</p></li>\n <li><p>Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged property promptly to management</p></li>\n <li><p>Respond courteously to guest requests and provide assistance when needed</p></li>\n <li><p>Follow all hotel cleanliness standards, safety procedures, and chemical handling guidelines</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and equipment in an organized and sanitary manner</p></li>\n <li><p>Support housekeeping and other departments as needed during high-traffic periods or special events</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><h3>Qualifications & Skills</h3>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)</p></li>\n   <li><p>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively</p></li>\n   <li><p>Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness</p></li>\n   <li><p>Friendly, professional demeanor with a guest-service mindset</p></li>\n   <li><p>Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push carts for extended periods</p></li>\n   <li><p>Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs</p></li>\n   <li><p>Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Must be 18 years or older.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>What We Offer</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Competitive hourly pay</p></li>\n <li><p>Team-oriented and supportive work environment</p></li>\n <li><p>Opportunities for growth within the hotel and hospitality industry</p></li>\n <li><p>Employee hotel discounts and benefits (as applicable)</p></li>\n <li>Complimentary Meals</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>About Magnolia Hotel St. Louis</h3>\n<p>Located in the heart of downtown, Magnolia Hotel St. Louis blends historic elegance with modern comfort.
