ORS is a leading provider of assigned certifier, technical advisory, quality assurance and quality control services in Ireland.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, and mixed-use developments nationwide. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects achieve compliance with Building Regulations and fire safety standards while supporting quality assurance throughout design, construction, and project completion stages.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">You will work closely with clients, design teams, contractors, and specialist consultants, contributing technical expertise across both mechanical and electrical building services systems while supporting project certification and compliance processes. </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">This is an opportunity to play a key role in driving construction quality, improving project delivery standards, and contributing to technically challenging and high-profile developments.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Review designs for compliance with the building regulations and fire safety standards and FSC compliance, report design non-compliances and risks, workshop with design team to develop most suitable design solution for client requirements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Review fire safety strategies, fire engineering designs, and compliance documentation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Review installations relating to fire safety on site for compliance with Building Regulations and project specifications. Undertake benchmark inspections relating to fire safety items.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Coordinate inspections and compliance activities throughout all project stages</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Carry out site inspections to monitor compliance with fire safety requirements, Building Regulations, and approved designs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and specialist consultants to resolve fire safety and compliance issues</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Review drawings, specifications, ancillary certificates, and project documentation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Review technical submittals where required on Projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Support the preparation and management of inspection plans and certification records</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Review and collate quality documentation, and handover records, witness Testing and Commissioning of M&amp;E systems to verify operation and cause and effect and fire safety strategies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Monitor construction quality and ensure fire stopping, compartmentation, and life safety systems are installed in accordance with specifications</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Provide technical guidance relating to fire safety regulations, standards, and best practice</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships while delivering high-quality consultancy services</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Requirements</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Degree in Fire Engineering, Building Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Strong experience in fire engineering, building compliance, or construction consultancy</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Significant on-site experience with strong understanding of construction methods and fire safety installations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Excellent technical knowledge of Building Regulations, BCAR requirements, and fire safety legislation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Experience reviewing fire strategies, technical drawings, and construction documentation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
