    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Summary of Job Description:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Incumbent in this position performs installations, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings at properties owned and managed by the Mohegan Tribe, including new construction and renovations. Incumbent in this position also performs building maintenance duties, including new construction, repairs, and renovations.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting</li><li>Knowledge of HVAC building codes and industry standards and ability to apply them</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams</li><li>Proficient in using computers and service CRM systems</li><li>Demonstrated excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule and be on call</li><li>Function independently or as a crew leader; provides instruction and delegates tasks</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>Valid S-1&nbsp;Unlimited contractor&rsquo;s license</li><li>Five (5) years of professional HVAC maintenance experience in commercial and residential properties.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license from state of residence</li><li>Ability to lift 60 pounds</li><li>Demonstrated experience with hand tools, power tools and other building maintenance tools and equipment</li><li>Ability to work in adverse conditions such as extreme cold and extreme heat, dust, noise, and wetness</li><li>Ability to perform essential duties with physical demands such as lifting/moving, pushing/pulling, kneeling, climbing, crouching, and reaching</li><li>Ability to perform around mechanical hazards, moving objects and mechanical equipment</li><li>Ability to work as required for emergencies, snow/ice control and special events</li><li>Selected candidate must successfully complete a background check in accordance with The Mohegan Tribe&rsquo;s Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Policy (Policy #80)</li><li>No felony convictions or misdemeanors involving moral turpitude or issues of integrity</li></ul><p><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:-4.5pt;\"><strong>The Mohegan Tribal Government is committed to Native American Preference and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</strong></p></div></div></div>\n",
