We are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join our team focused on <em>Delivering Solutions and Improving Lives</em>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a Project Engineering Manager to become an integral part of our Land Development Services design team.  Be a part of the NV5 team with the opportunity to be located in the fabulous Treasure Valley of SW Idaho.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A candidate should have an educational background in general civil engineering design. Candidate will work on a variety of development-related projects across Idaho and the Pacific NW. Anticipated projects include site development design for residential subdivisions, multi-family, commercial, and industrial development sites, and educational facilities.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>The successful engineer will plan, administer, and design small, medium, and large-scale Land Development projects to include a mix of Residential, Commercial, and Industrial. </li>\n <li>Perform a variety of Civil Engineering projects with an emphasis on site development projects, including the design of site grading, utilities, storm drainage facilities, roadways, trails, and other related items. </li>\n <li>Manage design staff as lead engineer on project tasks. </li>\n <li>May require visits with clients and project job sites.</li>\n <li>Aid in proposal preparation, detailing the scope of services and overall budgets. </li>\n <li>Establish and maintain client relationships; ensure client satisfaction; ensure client objectives are met.</li>\n <li>Responsible for marketing, writing proposals, winning work, and maintaining and developing key client relationships.</li>\n <li>Participate in client-rich professional organizations and functions.</li>\n <li>Train and mentor young professionals.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BSCE required.</li>\n <li>ID PE required – or must possess current PE with the ability to obtain ID PE within 6 months, licenses in other bordering states a plus.</li>\n <li>Must be local to the Treasure Valley area</li>\n <li>3-5 years of experience with a background in residential land development, including a combination of roadway, earthworks, water, sewer, stormwater, and technical report writing, multi-disciplined civil experience is a plus (i.e., mixture of transportation, residential, commercial, and industrial development).</li>\n <li>A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing tasks, projects, and professional staff is required.</li>\n <li>Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D (2018 or newer preferred), and MS software applications.</li>\n <li>3D modeling experience a plus.</li>\n <li>Must possess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated skills in developing relationships with clients is a plus.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and management.</li>\n <li>Adaptability and ability to respond quickly and accurately under pressure.</li>\n <li>Candidate must possess a valid Idaho State Driver’s License; must be able to meet company insurability requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>NV5 offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and professional development/advancement opportunities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>NV5 provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
