The Wound Care RN will specialize in assessing and treating skin breakdown and wounds in a clinic setting. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will also be consulted during a patients stay in a hospital for a wound or pressure injury, we are also consulted for ostomy care. Communicate with physicians / charge nurse / co � workers, as appropriate regarding changes in the patient�s treatment, clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies. Has the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education and Work Experience</p>\n<li>Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.</li>\n<li>BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.</li>\n<li>Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.</li>\n<li>Previous Wound care knowledge and or experience preferred (1 Year).</li>\n<li>Wound Care Certification within first year of hire</li>\n<li>Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred</li>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Employment Status</h2>Full Time\n<h2>Shift</h2>Days\n<h2>Equal Employment Opportunity</h2>\n<p>Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
