This role is essential in creating a safe environment while empowering clients to heal, rebuild, and thrive.<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<strong>This position is part-time and 16 hours per week. The schedule is&nbsp;</strong></span><u style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Saturday and Sunday 10:45pm-7:15am .</strong></u></span><br />\r\n<span style=\"display:block;font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do:</strong><br />\r\n&bull; Welcome new residents and their children, complete intakes, and provide orientation to the shelter.<br />\r\n&bull; Offer crisis intervention, safety planning, and emotional support to survivors and their families.<br />\r\n&bull; Provide individual support and referrals to community resources such as healthcare, education, and social services.<br />\r\n&bull; Facilitate transportation for clients to medical appointments, school, shopping, and activities.<br />\r\n&bull; Collaborate with community partners, including law enforcement, hospitals, and other providers, to ensure client needs are met.<br />\r\n&bull; Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive shelter environment.<br />\r\n&bull; Assist clients with developing and following through on service plans to achieve safety and independence.<br />\r\n&bull; Cover the 24/7 hotline and respond to crisis calls with compassion and professionalism.<br />\r\n&bull; Ensure all documentation is completed promptly and accurately.<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<strong>Why Join BHcare?</strong><br />\r\nAt BHcare, you&rsquo;ll be part of a mission-driven team working to break the cycle of domestic violence and build stronger, safer communities.
