Come join us and help shape the future.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Provide entry-level technical assistance in the design and development of mechanical systems for building and infrastructure projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with HVAC system design including air distribution, hydronic systems, and temperature controls.&nbsp;</li><li>Support the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.&nbsp;</li><li>Collect, compile, and analyze engineering data from drawings, schematics, and field observations to support project development.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in conducting research and site inspections to evaluate existing conditions and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform routine engineering calculations (e.g., load calculations) under supervision.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, and architectural professionals.</li><li>Ensure work is delivered in alignment with WSP quality, safety, and performance standards.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.&nbsp;</li><li>0–1 years of relevant internship or professional experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and building systems (HVAC, controls, plumbing).&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD or Revit.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Internship or co-op experience in consulting engineering or building design.</li><li>Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain.</li><li>Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, IECC, local building codes).</li><li>Interest in markets such as healthcare, commercial, higher education, or science &amp; technology.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u>WSP Benefits:&nbsp;</u>&nbsp;</p><p>WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
